Truly not much. The people here know me now and know I don’t judge or lecture to them about their choices. That said, when asked, I have taken them to rehab, battered women’s shelters, run them to doctor’s appointments, paid for an abscess to be drained, and so on. Sometimes they just need a few pesos for a fix and yes, I will give them money for that, too, when they ask.
